Harland Simon announces the award of a contract by Trib Total Media for the supply of new control systems for their Goss CT50 [MK II] reelstands. The project covers the supply and installation of new drives and controls for the six CT50 reelstands on their Goss Newsliner Press, once again utilizing industry standard, off-the-shelf components which will eliminate obsolete proprietary systems. In addition, splice and waste performance will be improved and maintenance time will be reduced.
As always,Trib Total Media completed an exhaustive selection process and the decision was clinched as a result of Harland Simon being the only company to have an established track record of success in control replacement for the CT45/50 range with over 100 units already installed or on order.
Harland Simon’s Managing Director – Americas, John Staiano commented, “We are extremely proud to have received such significant orders from such a widely respected organization as Trib Total Media.
